Located about 90 minutes from Negril on Jamaica’s South Coast- Cloggy’s is a local favorite out of the way of the normal traffic. Operating for 2 generations, the large selection of wood-fire grilled food is done to perfection. Of course, this takes time- Soooo…. instead of just enjoying the amazingly peaceful view of pelicans fishing for their lunch, we jump in a local fishing boat and ride a ½ mile out to Floyd’s pelican Bar. Situated on a sand bar way out in the clear blue sea, Red Stripe, Rum Punch, Dominos and swimming are a once in a lifetime way to pass the time while we await or feast back at Cloggy’s.
